Privacy Policy
Last updated September 14, 2026
Pagekit is a content API for developers. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can control it. No dark patterns, no selling your data.
1. What we collect
- Account data — email, name (if you provide one), password hash or auth provider ID.
- Billing data — handled by our payment processor. We store plan status and invoice metadata, not full card numbers.
- Content you create — posts, pages, media, settings, webhooks, and API keys (keys are stored hashed or encrypted).
- Usage data — API request volume, feature usage, error logs, and basic analytics needed to run and improve the product.
- Technical data — IP address, browser/user agent, and cookies or similar for sessions and security.
2. How we use it
- Provide and secure the service
- Bill paid plans and send transactional email
- Debug outages and abuse
- Improve product quality (aggregated when possible)
We do not sell personal data. We do not run ads on your content.
3. Processors
We use standard infrastructure vendors (hosting, auth, email, payments, analytics) under contracts that require them to process data only for us. A current list is available on request at hello@pagekit.app.
4. Cookies
We use essential cookies for login/session and preference (e.g. theme). We do not use third-party ad trackers on the marketing site.
5. Retention
Account and content data stay while your account is active. After you delete a project or account, we remove associated data within a reasonable window (typically 30 days), except backups in rotation and records we must keep for tax or fraud prevention.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Email hello@pagekit.app and we will handle it. You can also delete content and projects from the dashboard.
7. Children
Pagekit is built for developers and teams. It is not directed at children under 16. Do not create an account for someone under 16.
8. International transfers
Infrastructure may process data in the US or other regions. If you need a specific region, contact us — we will be honest about what is possible on current plans.
9. Changes
Material privacy changes will be posted here (and emailed when practical). Continued use after the update means you accept the revised policy.
